KnackLabs · Pitch
Privacy Policy
Effective 1 June 2026
Pitch is an internal sales and marketing platform operated by KnackLabs (the enterprise AI brand of Chimps At Work Studios). It is used by KnackLabs employees and is restricted to @knacklabs.ai Google accounts. This policy explains what data Pitch collects, how it is used, and the choices you have — including data accessed through a connected LinkedIn account.
1. Who this applies to
Pitch is an employees-only tool. Sign-in is restricted to KnackLabs Google Workspace accounts. We do not offer Pitch to the general public and do not knowingly collect data from anyone outside KnackLabs.
2. Information we collect
- Account & identity. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your KnackLabs Google Workspace account.
- Profile details you provide. Information you enter into Pitch tools (for example, job title, mobile number, or LinkedIn handle for the email-signature generator).
- Content you submit. Files and text you upload to Pitch features (for example, a LinkedIn profile PDF for the Profile Optimizer, or post copy you compose).
- LinkedIn data (only if you connect your account). If you choose to connect your LinkedIn account, we receive your LinkedIn member identity (name, headline, profile photo, and member ID) and an authorization that allows Pitch to publish posts to your LinkedIn feed on your behalf. See Section 3.
3. LinkedIn integration
Connecting your LinkedIn account is entirely optional and requires your explicit consent through LinkedIn’s standard OAuth screen. When you connect, you grant Pitch the following LinkedIn permissions:
openidandprofile— to confirm your identity and obtain your LinkedIn member ID, so posts are attributed to the correct account.w_member_social— to publish posts to your LinkedIn feed on your behalf.
We use this access only to publish content that you, or an authorized KnackLabs administrator acting with your participation, have created or approved. Pitch does not read your LinkedIn messages, connections, or activity, and does not post without an authorized request.
Your LinkedIn access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are never exposed to your browser or to third parties. You can disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time from within Pitch, which deletes the stored tokens and revokes Pitch’s ability to post on your behalf. Our use of LinkedIn data complies with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use and Platform Guidelines.
4. How we use information
- To authenticate you and enforce employees-only access.
- To provide Pitch features you use (signatures, diagrams, profile optimization, LinkedIn posting).
- To publish LinkedIn posts on your behalf when you or an authorized administrator request it, subject to your approval.
- To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. AI processing
Some Pitch features use AI. Content you submit to those features (for example, a profile PDF or draft post copy) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the requested output. It is processed to provide the feature and is not used to train third-party models. Uploaded files are sent for processing and are not retained by Pitch beyond what is needed to return your result.
6. Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors who handle data on our behalf:
- Google — sign-in and identity.
- Supabase — authentication and encrypted data storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic — AI processing for certain features.
- LinkedIn — for accounts you choose to connect.
We share data with these providers only as needed to operate Pitch, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
7. Data retention
We retain account and profile data for as long as you remain a KnackLabs employee with Pitch access. Connected-LinkedIn tokens are retained until you disconnect or your account is removed. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).
8. Security
Access is restricted to KnackLabs accounts, all traffic is served over HTTPS, database access is governed by row-level security so each user can only reach their own data, and sensitive credentials such as LinkedIn tokens are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Your choices and rights
- Disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time to revoke posting access and delete stored tokens.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
- Stop using any Pitch feature at any time.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes affecting connected LinkedIn accounts will be communicated to employees.
